What to expect from a Tidal Coaching session?

Undertaking coaching can be daunting for some people, especially if it is the first time. Therefore it is key for you to know what you can expect. It is important to me to be open with you about the process which is followed.

Before we even start to work together it is suggested for us to have an initial no obligation chat. This is to ensure that I am the best coach for you and that you would be comfortable working with me. I will then ask you to complete an introductory form which will assist in identifying what areas you feel you would like some support with. Following this if we are then happy to move forward I will send you a contract to sign and return before we have our first coaching session.

Coaching can take place via online video chat or alternatively we can arrange to meet in an agreed mutual location if preferred. The first session will allow us to delve deeper into what you would like to achieve and work on how to set these as specific goals. Here at Tidal Coaching I like to ensure that you feel you have something to implement straight away and therefore I will make some initial suggestions as to what you can work on before your second session – so don’t be surprised to be set some homework!

Following the session you will receive a personalised worksheet outlining what has been discussed, what tools have been suggested and what the next steps will be.

Our next session will begin with revisiting the steps already put in place and examining how you have felt these have helped and what could be improved. A detailed session will then follow in order involving the use of more in-depth NPL tools this may include addressing any changes in your belief system that may be required or anchoring techniques to allow you to draw upon your desired state whenever you require it. You will again receive a session summary sheet.

As coaching sessions continue the ‘Plan-Do-Check-Act’ cycle will continue. This means that we will work together to plan what you would like to accomplish, invest time in employing the best strategies for you to achieve this, check in to explore these strategies are being effective and then cooperate to implement them. Through the coaching journey together feedback will be continuous between us both.

You may find that you achieve what you would like within just a couple of sessions or you may find that you would prefer for continuous regular coaching sessions to occur.
